Totnes Festival
The 800th anniversary of the granting, by King John, of the Royal Charter to Totnes, was celebrated in 2006 with a program of cultural events that demonstrated the unique character of Totnes. The success of the event demanded an encore in 2007. The number of events organised for the festival ensures that residents and visitors will never want for spectacles to watch - for those who wish to actively participate there are workshops and activities.
