It is hoped that the inaugeral Torbay Week will be a regatta to join the established European classics such as Cowes and Cork Weeks.
The four sailing clubs of Torbay, (Babbacombe, Brixham, Paignton, and Royal Torbay) have amalgamated their regattas into a single major event offering world class racing for yachts and dinghies.
The regatta starts with RNLI 'Fancy Dress Pursuit Race' hosted by Brixham; continues with a 3-day championship, with six races for each class;
followed by special races including corporate and team events; fun races followed by the annual passage race to Dartmouth.
