| Pirates and the age of piracy hold a great fascination for many people. The Brixham Buccaneers have organised the Pirate & Shanty Festival offering swashbuckling fun, music, and piratical antics for all ages. The fun includes a world record (currently held in Germany) attempt for the largest gathering of pirates - to join in you must attend in costume (pirate hat/bandana, eye-patch, sword, appropriate trousers/shirt/dress). Sea Shanty competition throughout the festival. |
