The Classic Channel Regatta is open to classic yachts launched before 1976, plus some design exceptions for yachts built after 1976.
The fleet (up to 80 yachts) assembles at Dartmouth on Friday 3rd of July. Over the Saturday and Sunday, The Dartmouth Classics features the fleet,
including working boats (Brixham Heritage Fleet), racing in Start Bay. Ashore the Royal Dartmouth Yacht Club hosts a programme of social events.
On Monday 6th of July 2009 the fleet starts the Classic Channel Race and sets passage for Paimpol.
