Set on the South facing slopes of Dartmoor, The Dartmoor Wild Life Park has become one of the largest collections of big cats in the West of England, including endangered species such as the Siberian tiger and Jaguar.
Each year new projects are undertaken to improve the facilities at the Park and over the past 12 months our Wolf enclosure has been greatly extended.
New animals have also been introduced at the Park including two lionesses, a pair of Siberian Lynx, Prairie Dogs, Crested Porcupine and Mara.
Visitors get unrivalled views of our animals as many are in new enclosures which permit and encourage photography (please note NO BARS) so visitors can take home a marvellous record of their visit.
The favourites are still here. Close encounters operates every day from 2pm onwards - your chance to meet some of the more unusual animals face to face.
Falconry flying displays will be given every day weather permitting at 12 midday and 4pm.
The Jaguar restaurant seats 300 people - providing hot meals as well as snacks and is fully licenced with a souvenier shop and nearby an adventure playground and picnic area.
Open every day of the year - 10 am to Dusk.
